Noble Welcomes 2017 Roster for Smite!

With 2017 kicking off in full force, Team Noble welcomes our new roster for Smite, the highly acclaimed MOBA title with a huge following in today’s esports…

The 2017 Smite roster includes two returning faces from our previous collection of players: Wubbn and Wowy. Two others, El Chapo and Uzzy, will be making the jump from the Soar SCL Team (Console League) to compete alongside their new allies. Lastly, St3alth will round out the roster as one of the most decorated players in the Smite competitive scene.

Wubbn initially started playing the Pokemon series on the Nintendo systems as well as sports games. His interests eventually progressed to Call of Duty, and then to Smite when he purchased himself a PC. As he climbed the rankings, his skills drew the attention of a team called Citrus Gaming. His connections with names such as Sasic and MrMakey opened a window of opportunity that he was all too eager to jump through.

Since then, he’s stepped into a territory that he doesn’t plan to vacate anytime soon. His jaunts in competitive Smite include a 2nd place finish at the SPL Season 2 NA Fall Challenger in November 14, 2015, as well as a 5th place finish at the SWC 2016 Xbox One Invitational in January 10, 2016. Since then, he and his comrade Wowy brought glory to Noble’s name throughout 2016. Their return for the 2017 season uplifts our spirits.

Here’s a notable gameplay clip from Wubbn for you to enjoy.

Noble St3alth a.k.a. Brett Felley won his first Smite World Championship under the banner of Cognitive Prime. For follow-up championship events, he has maintained a presence within the Top 8 rankings while representing a variety of crews such as Cloud9 and Team Allegiance. Undoubtedly known as one of the greatest SMITE specialists, he will be joining the Noble SMITE team as their mid laner.

Noble El Chapo, another fresh addition to the roster, has made repeated switches between the Xbox One and PC platforms to maintain consistency for his practice regimen. After a narrow loss to EGR for SPL Relegations, he qualified for an Xbox One World Finals, but he did not quite feel a connection with the Xbox Smite community so he eventually made his return to the PC platform. Since the finals, he has yet to return to an event to wreak havoc amongst the competition. He and Uzzy have transitioned from the Soar SCL Team to represent Noble in the events to come!

Check out this for an exciting gameplay stunt performed by El Chapo!

All five of these players have thrown opponents everywhere for a loop since their entrance to the world of competitive gaming. We are happy to welcome back our old friends while cherishing the new faces. From recent interactions as well as historical recounts, we are excited for their future success in Smite!
